Johnny Brayson

Johnny Brayson is a Los Angeles-based entertainment writer for Bustle. He covers movies, streaming, and the occasional odd television show. He has previously covered entertainment for MGM Studios, Wetpaint, Looper, Outer Places, ThisTV, CHARGE!, and COMET TV. He has a BA in Journalism from the University of Maine and has also completed the sketch comedy writing program at the UCB Theatre in New York. He has comedy bylines at McSweeney’s, CollegeHumor, and The Nerdist and Geek & Sundry’s Alpha Project, and was a top-three finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest: TV Spec Category in 2015. Johnny has seen Simon & Garfunkel in concert but not at the same time, and he is the only human in history to have been quoted on the Wikipedia pages for both ‘Garfield’s Halloween Adventure’ and ‘A Garfield Christmas,’ which makes him very proud.
