Addy Salazar (aka @addison024 on TikTok) is no stranger to change. If anything, the influencer is a big fan. Known for her frequent hair color transformations, she debuts a new color almost every other week. Not only does she see her hair color as an expression of how she’s feeling, both inside and out, but with a fresh shade, "you feel like a new person that can accomplish new things,” she tells Bustle. Her latest hue? The aquatic shade of Mermaid Green from göt2b’s Metallics collection offers a long-lasting, multi-dimensional color that’s specially formulated with a metallic shine booster for cool, shimmering tones.

A hair transformation can be tough for anyone — everyone has an opinion, after all — but it’s especially the case on social media, where cyberbullying can be rampant. In just the few days since she’s colored her hair, “people say they love it, my hair looks healthy, [and] the color I chose really fits me,” says Salazar. Another bonus? It was easy to apply.
