Charlie is Social Director at BDG and leads the organization’s cross-brand social media strategy and growth.
After graduating from Cardiff University with a BA in English Literature in 2015, Charlie interned with Mashable and wrote for the likes of DIY Magazine, Wonderland, London in Stereo, and more. She joined BDG in 2018 as part of the launch team for Bustle UK and built a strategy and voice to bring the U.S. premier women’s lifestyle brand to a new audience.
During her time at BDG, Charlie has lead multiple partnerships with Instagram, produced countless videos, and interviewed Little Mix, Louis Theroux, Daisy May Cooper, and more. She previously lead Bustle UK's Cleanfluenced column, in which writers shared their top tips and hacks for a sparkling home. H/t to Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon for inspiring Charlie on the daily.
Outside of work, Charlie is a keen pop music stan and Disney Parks aficionado. When she's not at Walt Disney World, her Disney resort of choice, Charlie can be found reminiscing on the boyband heydays of 2013. She also loves cricket – read her interview with broadcaster and former England cricketer Isa Guha – but has found her American colleague's eyes glaze over whenever this unknown sport is mentioned (it's a bit like baseball, but better).
