Paris Giles

Paris Giles is a beauty and wellness writer at Bustle where she pens news, service and feature stories that consider the ways in which beauty, wellness and culture intersect. She covers everything from your favorite celebrity’s sworn-by skin care routine to the policies that affect how freely we can move through the world.

Paris has been a writer and editor for 10 years, taking a special interest in fashion, art, relationships and culture. She spent four years as editor of Detroit’s oldest and most widely circulated Black lifestyle magazine, BLAC. She’s also written for Chicago Parent, Metro Parent, HOUR Detroit, Walsh Journal, The Michigan Cannabis Industry Association Magazine and other publications. She earned her bachelor’s degree in print journalism from Wayne State University.

Paris currently lives in Detroit. She loves to spend her days off shopping for vintage earrings, and her nights checking out a new restaurant or the set at her favorite live poetry spot.
